Nominations for inclusion in the Burlingame High School Athletics Hall of Fame are being accepted through the end of this year. The school’s Athletics Hall of Fame was created in 1994 but ceased inductions for several years, in part due to the flu pandemic that closed schools throughout the area, state, and nation. With Burlingame High preparing to observe its 100th year of competitive athletics in 2026-27, the Hall of Fame is returning with an induction event tentatively scheduled for May 8, 2027. Potential inductees should be Burlingame High graduates who are at least 26-years-old and possess significant athletic resumes or coaches, administrators and others who have had a major impact on the school’s athletic program over time.
